Description Item Specs   Saladin was respected by both the Muslim and Christian warriors during the Crusades for his tactical prowess, chivalry and mercy. Saladin was the Sultan of Egypt and Syria. During the Crusades Saladin only lost one battle with the European forces. In 1187 Saladin captured the Jerusalem. Saladin gave quarter to the residents of Jerusalem and waived the ransom on many of the occupants. This is a replica of the 12th century helmet worn by the Sultan Saladin. This helmet is also a replica of those worn by the Muslim army in Kingdom of Heaven. Total Height:12 " Material:18 Gauge Carbon Steel Total Width:9.5 " Chain Mail Length:13.5 " Circumference:26.83 " Fittings:Brass Rivets Condition:Brand New Features -The Helmet has been constructed of 18 gauge steel with an aged brass finish. -The Helmet is secured with brass rivets. -The top of helmet is decorated with a golden ball point and nose protector. -Aged brass chain mail has been added to the back of the helmet to protect the wearers neck. -The helmet includes a FREE wooden table top stand. -The helmet has been lined with an imitation leather arming cap. -This helmet can be worn.
