Zhou Yu was one of the greatest generals of the Three Kingdoms period. He was a close friend and advisor to both Sun Ce and Sun Quan. in Fact it was Zhou Yu who advised Sun Quan to go to war with Cao Cao and thus changed the history of China. During the decisive Battle of Red Cliffs it was Zhou Yu who dealt the crushing blow to Cao Cao's forces. Although Zhou Yu had a profoundly influential and brilliant life, it was a short life. Shortly after the Battle of Red Cliffs Zhou Yu died...he was only 35.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from high carbon steel with a highly ornate ridge down the center of the blade. The golden symbols have been engraved into the steel of the blade. The blade comes slightly sharpened with a very sharp point.
Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword features the another complex design of chinese scroll work. The drag of the scabbard is a dragons face made of bronzed steel. A cord has been wrapped around the top half of the scabbard. A beautiful bronzed fitting decorates the cord wrap.
Guard: The guard is a classic rectangle design of the Warring States period. In the center of the guard is an amber stone. The guard fits seamlessly into the scabbard throat.
Handle: The handle of the sword has been constructed with classical tapered design and black cord wrap. The pommel of the sword is a beautiful design of a water dragon and eagle.
