This is the Chris Zhou Hand Folded Carbon Steel Dragon Katana Sword. The blade is a beautiful, hand-folded kobuse shinogi-zukuri with a gunome hamon. The saya has been lacquered a deep forest green with gold and silver metalflake to add a touch of elegance and sophistication. the sageo is black chemical fiber. The tsuba is alloy with a gold dragon in a squall and Mt. Fuji with matching fushigashira and menuki. The ito is also chemical fiber with correct crossovers in the maki. the samegawa is genuine rayskin and features oyatsubu. This is truly a beautiful sword and is balanced to be a heavy cutting blade.

Features

Detailed Specs of the Katana:
Blade: The blade has been constructed from hand folded high carbon steel in a Mokume pattern. The Hamon is authentic, caused by the claying and quencing process and is in a Gunome pattern with a midare-komi turnback in the boshi. The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
Saya: The Saya features a glossy dark green lacquered finish with gold and silver metalflake. The Koiguchi is bull horn. The Sageo is black chemical fiber.
Tsuka: The Tsuba is alloy with Mt. Fuji and the sea on one side and a dragon in a squall on the other. The Tsuka features two smoked bamboo Mekugi. The Ito is black chemical fiber. The Samegawa is authentic white ray skin. The Fushigashira are alloy in a gold painted dragon style.
