Item Specs

This is the practice version of the Korean Jikdo Kagum. It has the exact same specifications as the sharp model but is dull for safety purposes and is perfect for training use.

Features

Blade: The blade has been constructed from differentially hardened T-10 high carbon steel and features a hyoljo (groove). The NaMunui (hamon) of the sword is authentic with a wave pattern. The blade comes full tang and is perfect for use to practice.
Gumjip (scabbard) : The gumjip is wooden with a clear red gloss finish and buffalo horn kaljip-ip (scabbard throat).
Sonjabi: The habaki is brass. The Ko-Deungi is a small oval made of brass. The Apm-egi is made of brass and the Duitm-egi is carved brass with a vine motif. The sonjabi is also clear red lacquered. The sonjabi is double pinned with bamboo mekugi.
