This is the Medieval Chainmail Flat Ring Voider Gusset Pair Large. Chain mail is one of the oldest forms of Armor, dating back to the mid 1st millenium BC. It was the armor of choice for many knights until the invention of plate armor in the 14th century.

This chainmail voider/gusset pair is an innovative piece of armor. Featuring 17 gauge Titanium flat rings which are then riveted, these chain mail voiders are the perfect way to increase your protection while keeping the weight of your armor down. These voiders are meant to be worn along the arm and inside the armpit with plate armor. They can be sewn on a doublet or attached with arming points.

For correct measurements, wear all clothes and padding before taking measurements to find the right chainmail size.

Features

The chainmail voider is made of 17 gauge Titanium flat rings in Round Riveted style. They are great for people doing SCA or LARP.
Each individual ring measures about 0.35"/9mm in diameter.
