The T10 Differentially Hardened 28 Inch Blade Unokubi Zukuri Katana is a dojo grade katana meant for use for the practitioner. It comes with a certificate of authenticity, and is guaranteed to cut tatami. It is differentially hardened to produce a hard edge with a ductile body. The sword has a very well-balanced feel when swung, which gives confidence to cut targets with ease. This sword comes with a display case, sword bag, and certificate of authenticity.

Features

Blade: The blade has been constructed of T10 monosteel which is then differentially hardened with a gunome midare hamon and shaped as a unique unokubi zukuri/kanmuri otoshi katana geometry.
Saya: The saya has a burgundy gloss finish with beige rayon silk sageo tied over a wooden kurikata with bronze shitodome.
Koshirae: The habaki is made of brass with brass seppa and a iron tsuba. The tsuba has a water dragon design and blackened finish. The fuchi and kashira are made in Higo style, with brass ken menuki. The beige rayon silk ito is wrapped over real white samegawa ray skin and is double pegged with bamboo mekugi pins for added security
