This is the 40" Ryujin 1060 Differentially Hardened Gunto Tachi Samurai Sword with Display Box. This is a functional forged 1060 carbon steel sword that is differentially hardened with a real hamon. The habaki is made of yellow brass and the fittings are made with metal alloy in a powder coated silver matte finish. The handle features real samegawa ray skin with brown synthetic fiber ito and is double bamboo mekugi pegged. The saya is made with a wood core and a metal alloy layer over that with two belt attachment points and a ishime fold and black colored finish with carved figures along the length of the scabbard.

This sword comes with a sword bag, gift display box, and a maintanence kit. Sword stand sold separately.
