This is the Munetoshi Tessen Forge Folded Differentially Hardened T10 Katana Sword. The Munetoshi Tessen has been beautifully crafted from forge folded T10 carbon steel. The blade is a medium cutter capable of medium and hard traditional targets.

Features

Blade: The blade of the Tessen has been constructed from forge folded T10 differentially hardened steel. The folds of the blade are very tight and clean with no additional enhancements. The hamon is a crisp rolling gunome with clear medium crystals. The kissaki is chu design with a clean turn back in the boshi.
In terms of performance the blade is a medium weight cutter capable of traditional medium and hard targets.
The sword is very sharp and full tang.
Saya: The saya is wooden with a green suspended style finish. The koiguchi and sayajiri are bull horn. The kurigata is polished bull horn with a high quality chemical fiber sageo and golden shitdome.
Tsuka: The habaki is brass with a biforacted rain pattern. The tsuba is blackened iron with a sukashi tessen design. The fuchigashira are blackened iron with a patterned finish. The ito is green chemical fiber over white samegawa. The nakago is double pinned with two bamboo mekugi.
