The Comb Morion, an evolution of the earlier Kettle Hat, was popular during the 16th and early 17th centuries. It usually featured a "comb" or crest, which was originally intended to help in deflecting blows and strengthening the construction.

It has flat brim and crest at the top from front to back that adds style to its appearance.

It has an imitation leather liner inside the helmet for comfort and has an adjustable leather chin strap.
