The swords of the set are well balanced with careful attention paid to the look, feel and the overall authenticity of each sword.

Features

Blade: The blade is 1045 carbon steel with the immitation hamon along the edge of the blade.
Scabbard: The scabbard is constructed of wood with a shiny gloss finish and a black cord wrap sage-o.
Guard: The guard of the katana is a circular design, built sturdy, with detailed golden orchid. The guard also features a golden blade collar.
Handle: The sword is rat tang through the handle (the length of full tang, but thinner in the width). Over the tang is imitation sting ray skin for the closest feel of authenticity that can be found within this price range. For grip and comfort the sting ray skin has been wrapped with a black cord in the traditional style of Japanese swords.
