Item Specs

This is a Functional Battle Ready German Sallet Combat Helmet with Articulated Tail. A Sallet was originally from Italy and became popular in France, England and German in 14th and 15th century. This helmet is made from 16 gauge steel with riveted visor, leather liner and chin strap. It's good for SCA fighting, re-enactment or collection.

Features

-The Helmet has been constructed of 16 gauge steel. It's very solid and good for SCA and re-enactment.
- This barbutes features a low ridged crest forged into the top of the helmet's skull which served to strengthen the helmet without adding a significant amount of weight.
-It is full size and wearable.
-The helmet comes with leather liner and chin strap.
