This is the Skyjiro Ancient Iron Warrior 1070 Through Hardened Folded Steel Black Katana Black Blade. The blade is made of 1070 high carbon steel that has been forge folded for a unique pattern then through hardened and features an all black blade and extended chu-kissaki. The blade has a cosmetic hamon added to it for appearance and the habaki is nickel plated as are the seppa for added contrast. The fittings are all made of iron and the tsuba has a square shape with an arashi or storm depicted on it with matching fuchi and kashira. The handle is wrapped with black synthetic silk with gyakute or reverse mounted menuki which are blackened alloy over black lacuqered samegawa ray skin. The saya features a buffalo horn koiguchi with a rounded kojiri and large kurikata. This katana has a commanding prescence when swung and can be used for light to hard density targets such as water bottles, tatami mats, and bamboo.

Guard: The solid iron guard is a storm themed tsuba.
Handle: Traditional Japanese style black synthetic silk wrapped handle with real black lacquered samegawa and double mekugi pins.
Scabbard: Made of wood with black lacquer and buffalo horn koiguchi and black synthetic silk sageo.
