This is our new Shira-Saya Set. The Shira-Saya style is quickly becoming our fastest selling product. From its humble beginnings as a way to preserve a sword blade while being fitted to a way to conceal a blade during the prohibition of swords, the Shira-Saya has been a corner stone of the samurai sword. More recently Zatochi (the blind swords man) and O-Ren (from Kill Bill) A have made the Shira-Saya into a stylish way to carry a blade.

The set includes a Katana, Wakizashi, Tanto, and Three Tier Table Top Stand.

Features

Blade: The blades of the swords are 440 Stainless Steel with the visible hamon along the edges of the blades. The swords are created in straight edge style and come factory sharpened.
Scabbard: The scabbards of the swords are real bamboo with a hollow end and a clear finish.
Handle: The handles of the swords are saya style. When the swords are sheathed it looks like one solid piece. The segments of the bamboo create natural hand holds for a reliable grip and comfort.
