Note: The blade is not spring loaded and the positioning of the blade works with gravity. The button only locks the blade in position.

This is a Reproduction of Heaven's Fall from the movie seven swords. In the movie the sword was created by the master sword smith Shadow-Glow. Shadow-Glow was a hermit in the mountains who had cast over a thousand different swords but could not create the ultimate sword. One day he saw a column of cloud pour down from the sky like a waterfall and he found enlightenment. The sword was confined by shape and size. Shadow-Glow created a sword that broke the bounds of all swords. A sword with a blade that could be used from either end of the handle. The blade of the sword moves through the handle and comes out of either side at the press of a button making this the first multi directional sword.

Warning: Do not press the button on the handle while the handle is pointing toward you! The blade will slid down and injure you!

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword is 440 stainless steel with a cut out track down the center of the blade. Three circle cut outs allow the blade to be locked in place in the handle. The blade comes with an unsharpened edge, but a very sharp tip. The blade slides from one end of the handle to the other and can even be used with the blade centered and a blade coming out of each side of the handle (like a short bo with blades).
Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a black dull gloss finish and shiny highlights. A black cotton cord is wrapped around the top of the scabbard for grip. The scabbard throat is brass with two locking rivets to secure the sword in the scabbard. Etched into the wood of the scabbard is a Kanji reading " It is shame to be stabbed in the back. ".
Handle: The handle of the sword is wooden with a black cord wrap. Two brass fittings on the handle fit seamlessly with the scabbard of the sword locking the sword into the scabbard (there is one on each side of the handle). A large brass button sits in the center of the handle for release of the blade. The button can be easily pressed, effortless switching the direction of the blade.
