Description Item Specs   The Black Ninjato has been designed specifically to endure the rigors of tameshigiri. The blade is light weight and very quick, when combined with the perfectly shaped tsuka the result is a sword that is extremely responsive and agile. The full tang construction and excellent heat treat ensure that the blade will consistently perform for years to come. An aesthetic hamon and bohi has been added to the blade. The blade comes full tang, very sharp, and is fully capable of performing tameshigiri. Saya: The saya of the sword is wooden with a black high gloss finish and hardened koiguchi. The sageo is black chemical fiber tied over a wooden kurigata with golden shitedome. Tsuka: The tsuba is black and has a square design with hand designs on all four corners of the tsuka. The fuchigashira are patterned alloy. The ito is black cotton with alternating crossovers over crisp white samegawa. Two smoked bamboo mekugi secure the tang of the sword into the tsuka. The tsuka is perfectly tapered to fit the hands and provide an extremely responsive sword.
