This is the Functional Medieval Barbute 16 Gauge Steel Helmet SCA LARP. This is a hand crafted helmet made out of polished 16 gauge steel. It is a barbute style helmet, which is visorless and was typical of 15 century Italian helmet design. Barbute type helmets can come with T-shaped or Y-shaped openings, but will always cover most of the face. This helmet also features a leather liner and leather chin strap with brass buckle for easy and secure use.
