Item Specs

This is a forged steel katana samurai sword. It has a through hardened
blade with a wire-brushed hamon, cotton ito, and faux rayskin. It is the
perfect sword for the beginning martial artist or collector.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from carbon steel
with a full length bohi and wire-brushed hamon and a chu kissaki.
Saya: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a black gloss finish. The
left side of the saya has a beautiful painted cherry blossom design. It
also comes with a black cotton sageo and gold shitodome.
Tsuba: The tsuba is made of alloy metal and is in a landscape motif.
Handle: The handle of the sword has a wood core, with faux rayskin
samegawa and black cotton ito wrap. It is double pegged with bamboo, and
has alloy dragon menuki. The fuchi and kashira are alloy and have a
plain design with the pracitioner in mind.
